I love to come across paradoxes or extremes in points of view. It’s fun to unpack complex controversies and consider nuances. This approach serves to build a deeper meaning in my work. I think about how I can portray a concept visually using color, contrast, and composition. I like to play around with combining expressive marks with detailed realism, or vibrant colors with simplified form. It is my way of telling tangled and often contradictory stories.”
